The providers
Five providers, side by side
Navan
A travel, expense and corporate card platform with 24/7 travel support agents.
Statements below link to Navan's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- Navan's pricing page lists Navan Business “for companies up to 300 employees”, and Navan Enterprise for “large-scale organizations”. Source
Pricing model
- Navan Business is listed as free, and Navan says it's funded by travel providers' commission fees. Source
- On Navan Business, Navan Expense is free for the first 5 monthly expensing users, then $15 per user per month. Source
- Companies with more than 300 employees are asked to request a demo, and Navan Enterprise shows no price: it reads “Let’s talk”. Source
What's published
- The Navan Business plan card lists unlimited policy and approval workflows, and self-serve changes with 24/7 travel support agents. Source
- The Enterprise card adds corporate negotiated rates and what Navan calls enterprise-grade travel support. These are Navan's own descriptions. Source
Worth asking: Navan's free plan stops at 300 employees, and above that it's priced by quote, so at 100 to 1,000 people you may be on either side of the line. Ask which plan your headcount puts you on, and for every fee in writing. For the detail behind the 300-employee line, read Navan pricing, explained.
SAP Concur Travel, with a TMC
A booking tool and travel management platform from SAP Concur, offered in its Premium plan alongside Concur Expense, and integrated with travel management companies (TMCs).
Statements below link to SAP Concur and SAP's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- SAP Concur's FAQ on the Concur Travel page says its solutions are “designed for businesses of all sizes”. This is the vendor's own statement. Source
- Concur Travel is described as integrating with TMCs, global distribution systems, ERP, HR and expense systems. Source
- SAP's onboarding page for small and midsize businesses says working with one of its TMC partners is a requirement for activating Concur Travel, and that every booking needs a TMC to fulfill it. Source
Pricing model
- The pricing page lists Concur Expense plans from $7 per report (Base) and $11 per report (Plus). Concur Travel is listed only in the Premium plan, which is “Custom pricing” with a request for a quote. Source
- The pricing page says price can vary based on monthly commitment, and that a plan can be tailored to the add-on products and services you choose. Source
What's published
- Expense starting prices and the products in each of the three plans, and no amount for Concur Travel. Source
Worth asking: With Concur Travel and a TMC you may have two sets of fees: SAP Concur's subscription and the TMC's own transaction or service fees. Ask each for theirs in writing, and ask which one answers when a trip goes wrong. Our comparison of silentVIP and SAP Concur explains how Concur Travel works with a TMC, area by area.
Amex GBT and Egencia
American Express Global Business Travel, a large TMC, and Egencia, its digital booking product.
Statements below link to Amex GBT's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- The Egencia page describes it as for “digitally-forward companies of all sizes”, from small start-ups and mid-sized businesses to global enterprises. Source
- Amex GBT's pricing page says its pricing suits “businesses of every shape and size”. Source
Pricing model
- The pricing page names four pricing models (flat fee, pay as you book, subscription and custom terms) and gives no amounts. Source
- Amex GBT says clients can secure up to 20% off top air routes and 25% off best available hotel rates, footnoted to its internal reporting for 2024. For air, it doesn't say what the discount is measured against. This is Amex GBT's own claim. Source
What's published
- Egencia shows in-policy options first and flags out-of-policy choices for a manager's approval. Source
- The Egencia page lists a Concur Expense integration, an open API platform, and 24/7 help by chat, phone and in-app messaging. Source
- The Egencia page has no prices; savings figures are “available on request” and visitors are asked to request a demo. Source
Worth asking: Amex GBT and Egencia are priced by conversation. Ask which of the four pricing models they'd propose for your trip volume, and for the full fee schedule under it, so you can set it next to Perk's published percentages. Our comparison of silentVIP and Amex GBT goes area by area, from booking to pricing models.
FCM
The corporate travel management company of Flight Centre Travel Group, combining travel consultants with its own platform.
Statements below link to FCM's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- FCM's FAQ says it specializes in large enterprises and multinational travel programs that spend $10 million or more on business travel a year. Source
- For smaller-volume programs, the same answer says FCM has “specialist solutions”. Source
Pricing model
- No prices are published. FCM says its solutions are scaled to your travel volume, budget and goals. Source
What's published
- Platform modules for booking, approvals, safety, reporting and analytics, and payments and expense, and an AI assistant called Sam that works from your travel policy. Source
- Dedicated account management, travel consultants for booking and assistance, and 24/7 proactive risk management. These are FCM's own descriptions. Source
Worth asking: At 100 to 1,000 employees, ask FCM which of its offerings your annual travel spend would fall under, since FCM describes its specialty by annual travel spend ($10 million or more), not headcount.
silentVIP (that's us)
A managed travel program: our team sources and books each trip under your policy, and travelers choose from the options in the portal.
Who it fits
- You want a named specialist to source and own each trip, rather than travelers booking for themselves
- You want to pay published fees, with no supplier commissions behind the advice
- You want a price you can see before talking to sales
- You bill several legal entities, and recovering refunds and unused credits matters to finance
Pricing model
- Essentials: $8 per active traveler per month, $22 per flight booking, $600 a month minimum.
- Managed: $14 per active traveler per month, $30 per flight booking, $2,000 a month minimum.
- Enterprise: by quote. Usually above 1,000 travelers, several entities or a custom service model.
- No supplier commissions. We're paid only our published fees.
What it doesn't do
- Live self-service search across airline and hotel inventory is not available today. Travelers request a trip and choose from the options our team sends.
- No corporate card and no expense-management product. Employee-paid items go to your expense system as a file.
- Accounting, expense and HR connections are files someone downloads or uploads, not live syncing. File exports are included; a custom format costs $750 once.
- There's no app-store app; the portal works in a phone browser.
If a managed program is on your list, silentVIP and Perk compared prices a month of your own trips on both.
