Plan finder

Does managed travel fit, and which plan?

Ten questions, about two minutes. You'll see which plan fits and why, what a typical month costs with the arithmetic shown, and when a self-booking tool or another service would suit you better.

Your whole headcount. The quote form asks for it too.

People who travel or have something booked that month, not your whole headcount.

A round trip on one ticket is one booking. Enter 0 if none.

Each stay or rail ticket counts once. Enter 0 if none.

Office hours are 8am–8pm ET and 8am–8pm AET, Monday to Friday. Leave blank if none.

Companies or subsidiaries that need their own invoices. Leave blank for one.

What you need

Must travelers search live inventory and book instantly, by themselves?
Do you want corporate cards or expense software from your travel provider?
Do you want a named account manager?
Do you need a custom service model, such as your own response commitments?

Your answers are kept in this page's address, so you can bookmark or share it. The address is sent to our server to work out the result; the finder doesn't save your answers, and the event we record when a result is shown doesn't include them.

Your result will appear here

Answer the questions and select Show my plan. You'll see which plan fits, why, what a typical month costs with the arithmetic, and anything that would make another kind of service a better fit.

How the finder decides

The rules, in plain words

The finder applies these in order. Each one rests on our published terms.

  1. If travelers must search live inventory and book instantly on their own, a self-booking tool is likely the better fit. silentVIP doesn't offer live self-service search today: travelers request a trip and choose from the options our team sends.
  2. If you want corporate cards or expense software from your travel provider, the finder says so. silentVIP has no corporate card or expense product. Bookings are billed to the company, charged to a company card or marked employee-paid, and employee-paid items go to your expense system as a file. If you want one vendor for cards, expenses and travel, Navan covers more ground (see our Navan comparison).
  3. If you have more than 1,000 active travelers a month, or you need a custom service model, Enterprise, which is priced by quote.
  4. If you want a named account manager, Managed. Managed and Enterprise clients have one; Essentials clients are served by a shared team, with a named lead through implementation.
  5. If none of those apply, whichever of Essentials and Managed costs less for your volumes, counting after-hours calls at $45 each on Essentials (they're included on Managed).
  6. If you invoice several legal entities, the finder shows the trade-off rather than switching plans: entity billing is on every plan, and Enterprise adds consolidated billing across entities and regions.
  7. If your fees for a month come to less than the plan's minimum, you pay the minimum: $600 on Essentials, $2,000 on Managed.

Costs come from the published fees on the pricing page, calculated the same way as its worked examples and cost tool. Changes are estimated at 15% of bookings. Each fee: $8 per active traveler per month, $22 per flight booking, $12 per hotel or rail booking and $15 per change or cancellation on Essentials; $14 per active traveler per month, $30 per flight booking, $15 per hotel or rail booking on Managed, with changes included.
