The providers
Five providers, side by side
Navan
A travel, expense and corporate card platform with its own in-house travel agents.
Statements below link to Navan's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- Navan's pricing page lists Navan Business for companies of up to 300 employees, and Navan Enterprise for “large-scale organizations”. Source
- Navan's travel page contrasts itself with traditional travel management, which it describes as offline agencies, manual booking and disconnected expense tools. This is Navan's own statement. Source
Pricing model
- Navan Business is listed as free, and Navan says it's funded by travel providers' commission fees. Source
- On Navan Business, Navan Expense is free for the first 5 monthly expensing users, then $15 per user per month. Source
- Companies with more than 300 employees are asked to request a demo, and Navan Enterprise shows no price: it reads “Let’s talk”. Source
Concur Expense and other systems
- Navan's integrations page lists a Concur integration that forwards receipts automatically for creating expense reports. Source
- Navan sells its own expense product, Navan Expense, which it says integrates directly with NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage and Datev. Source
- Navan says most of its native integrations are included in the platform subscription, with no additional fees from Navan. Source
Worth asking: Between 300 and 1,000 employees, Navan's pricing page points you to a demo and a quote. If you'd keep Concur Expense, ask Navan exactly what its Concur integration sends across, and whether it expects you to move expenses to Navan Expense instead. For the detail behind the 300-employee line, read Navan pricing, explained.
Perk (formerly TravelPerk)
A self-service travel and spend platform. travelperk.com now redirects to perk.com.
Statements below link to Perk's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- Perk describes itself as a platform to “automate travel, expenses, and policies in one platform”. This is Perk's own statement. Source
- Its pricing page calls the free Starter plan “the platform everyone can use”. Source
Pricing model
- Travel-only plans: Starter has no platform fee and charges 5% per booking; Premium is $99 a month plus 3% per booking; Pro is $299 a month plus 3% per booking. Source
- The booking fee is at least $2 and at most $30 per booking. Source
- Travel and Spend plans start at $6 (Premium) and $8 (Pro) per active user per month, plus 3% per booking, where an active user is anyone who submits or reviews an expense that month. Perk says its current Spend pricing is available for a limited time, so ask for the figure in writing. Source
Concur Expense and other systems
- Perk sells its own expense management alongside travel, in its Travel and Spend plans. Source
- Its Premium Travel and Spend plan lists all ERP connectors except SAP; the SAP connector and the Open API come with Pro. Source
- Perk's homepage says it connects to AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini. This is Perk's own statement. Source
Worth asking: Perk publishes its plan prices, and its booking fee is a percentage with a minimum and a cap, so work it out on your own average fares. The Perk pages we checked don't mention Concur Expense, so if you'd keep it, ask Perk how travel data would reach it. Our comparison of silentVIP and Perk prices a month of your own trips on both.
Amex GBT and Egencia
American Express Global Business Travel, a large TMC, and Egencia, its digital booking product.
Statements below link to Amex GBT's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- The Egencia page describes it as for “digitally-forward companies of all sizes”. Source
- Amex GBT's pricing page says its pricing options suit “businesses of every shape and size”. Source
Pricing model
- The pricing page names four pricing models (flat fee, pay as you book, subscription and custom terms) and gives no amounts. Source
- Amex GBT says clients can secure up to 20% off top air routes and 25% off best available hotel rates, footnoted to its internal reporting for 2024. It doesn't say what the savings are measured against. This is Amex GBT's own claim. Source
Concur Expense and other systems
- The Egencia page lists a Concur Expense integration, and Complete, which it describes as its partnership with SAP Concur for a combined travel and expense solution. Source
- It also lists an open API platform, and 24/7 help by chat, phone and in-app messaging. Source
- Egencia shows in-policy options first and flags out-of-policy choices for a manager's approval. Source
Worth asking: Amex GBT and Egencia are priced by conversation. Ask which of the four pricing models they'd propose for your trip volume, and for the full fee schedule under it. If you'd keep Concur Expense, ask whether you'd use the Concur Expense integration or Complete, and what each costs. Our comparison of silentVIP and Amex GBT goes area by area, from booking to pricing models.
FCM
The corporate travel management company of Flight Centre Travel Group, combining travel consultants with its own platform.
Statements below link to FCM's own pages, checked Oct 22, 2026.
Who it says it fits
- FCM's FAQ says it specializes in large enterprises and multinational travel programs that spend $10 million or more on business travel a year. Source
- For smaller-volume programs, the same answer says FCM has “specialist solutions”. Source
Pricing model
- No prices are published. FCM says its solutions are scaled to your travel volume, budget and goals. Source
What's published
- Approval workflows built into its platform, with multi-tier approval paths, and an AI assistant called Sam that works from your travel policy. Source
- Dedicated account management, travel consultants for booking and assistance, and 24/7 proactive risk management. These are FCM's own descriptions. Source
- FCM says its approval workflows stay the same even when the approver and traveler use different booking tools in different countries. Source
- FCM says its platform is designed to integrate with your existing expense management systems and other third-party tools. This is FCM's own statement. Source
Worth asking: At 100 to 1,000 employees, ask FCM which of its offerings your annual travel spend would fall under, since its own threshold for its core offering is set by spend, not headcount. The FCM page we checked says its platform integrates with existing expense systems but doesn't name SAP Concur, so if you'd keep Concur Travel or Concur Expense, ask how FCM would work with them.
silentVIP (that's us)
A managed travel program: our team sources and books each trip under your policy, and travelers choose from the options in the portal.
Who it fits
- You want a named specialist to source and own each trip
- You want one team for booking, service and the portal, rather than a booking tool and a TMC
- You want published fees you can see before talking to sales
- You bill several legal entities, and recovering refunds and unused credits matters to finance
Pricing model
- Essentials: $8 per active traveler per month, $22 per flight booking, $600 a month minimum.
- Managed: $14 per active traveler per month, $30 per flight booking, $2,000 a month minimum.
- Enterprise: by quote. Usually above 1,000 travelers, several entities or a custom service model.
- No supplier commissions. We're paid only our published fees.
Concur Expense and other systems
- If you keep SAP Concur Expense, employee-paid travel items go to it as a file.
- Journal files for QuickBooks Online, Xero and NetSuite, a general ledger file and an HR roster import.
- File exports are included on every plan; a custom export format costs $750 once.
What it doesn't do
- Live self-service search across airline and hotel inventory is not available today. Travelers request a trip and choose from the options our team sends.
- No corporate card and no expense-management product. Employee-paid items go to your expense system as a file.
- Accounting, expense and HR connections are files someone downloads or uploads, not live syncing.
- There's no app-store app; the portal works in a phone browser.
If a managed program is on your list, silentVIP and SAP Concur compared sets the two side by side, area by area.
